Your role

You should have Strong Knowledge on Healthcare Management (Payor & Provider) domains Functional expert in the EMR/EHR, ICD codes and exposure to Health Care Industry standards like HIPAA/PHI. This position works closely with the IT Project Management office to assist in the definition and testing of key processes for IT Projects and Project Software. This position will coordinate resources and gather requirements for the testing of the project processes. This position will report to key managers in their PMO office.

Requirements
You will be responsible to:

  • Create requirements and specifications for business solutions

  • Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement

  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals

  • Ensure business processes are running in accordance with Agile methodologies

  • Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors

  • Collaborate with team members to collect, analyse, and evaluate information from multiple sources including

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Write and document business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications

  • Work with information technology professionals to develop a solution that meets business requirements

  • Continuously improve existing business processes and strive to develop new ones to improve efficiency

What we’re looking for

  • Candidates must have experience in managed care – primarily in healthcare for at least 3-5 years as a business analyst

  • Functional expert in the EMR/EHR, ICD codes and exposure to Health Care Industry standards like HIPAA/PHI:

  • Functional Knowledge on handling healthcare system integration tools like Mirth connectors, FHIR etc.

  • Exposure in Implementation of Health Care Applications as well as for other HIS Modules

  • Extensive knowledge in web/mobile software development projects by interacting with team members that included clients, software developers, project managers and other stakeholders etc.

  • Hands-on experience in preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Use Cases and Requirements Traceability Matrix.

  • Creating User stories, flow charts, UML diagrams, process flows, task analysis, wireframes and screen mock-ups.

  • Experience in handling, Jira, confluence, and other related tools etc

  • Excellent analytical skills in understanding the business process (AS - IS and TO-BE), understanding the functional requirements and translating them to system requirement specifications.

  • Manage PDG (Product Development Group) to interact on grooming new functionalities by considered in the upcoming sprint release

  • In depth knowledge in Agile, Scrum methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes

  • Good knowledge of concepts like Gap Analysis, SWOT Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Decision Analysis & Strategy Analysis

  • Work experience in enterprise grade software development projects

  • Good understanding and working knowledge on API’s and familiarity with cloud-based, micro service-oriented architecture

  • Results-driven professional, by adapting to rapidly changing environments and resolving mission-critical issues to ensure bottom-line success

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex concepts in business terms
